Quickstart

Go from sign-in to your first deliverable.

  1. Sign in with your email. New accounts and existing accounts use the same sign-in page.
  2. Enter your organization's name. This creates your organization, and you become an admin automatically.
  3. Subscribe when checkout opens automatically; how the plan works is covered in Billing.
  4. Wait about a minute while your organization's environment is prepared on a progress screen.
  5. Create a deal: give it a name and pick a stage (Screening, Underwriting, Closing, Asset Management, or Graveyard).
  6. Drop your deal documents onto the Workbench, the file panel on the right. Whole folders work. The terminal files each document into the Library; anything ambiguous waits for you to pick a folder.
  7. Open a session. Pick a quick-start card suited to the deal's stage, or a blank session where you drive.
  8. Get oriented: run /deal:get-overview and the terminal reads the deal folder and summarizes the documents and the deal's current state.
  9. Ask for your first deliverable, in your own words ("build the screening model") or with a command like /draft:screening-model. The finished file lands in Drafts; click it to open the preview and check the work.

Invited teammates skip organization creation and checkout: they accept the email invitation and land directly in the organization (see Team and seats).
