Redline two versions
Hand the terminal an earlier and a revised Word document and get one file back with every change tracked.
A redline is one Word document that shows what moved between two versions: added text marked as an insertion, removed text struck through, each one a tracked change you accept or reject in Word.
Ask for one
Reference both Word documents in your message, the earlier version first, and ask for a redline. Type @ to pick each file, or drag its row from the Workbench onto the terminal.
The redlined copy lands in Drafts unless you name somewhere else. Open it in Word and work through the changes there, the same as a redline from counsel.
What comes through
The earlier document is the base. Paragraphs that didn't change pass through untouched, along with its styles, headers, footers, and numbering, so the redline reads like the document rather than a rebuild of it. Accept every change and you have the revised version exactly, deleted paragraphs and all.
Changes inside a table are the exception: a table that differs between the two versions comes through as it stood in the earlier document and is flagged for you, so those edits are yours to mark up.

- Editing in the preview: your own typing in a Word document is tracked the same way.
- Commands:
/update:term-sheetrevises the deal's term sheet, and can hand back a redline of it alongside the clean version.
